AI Fundamentals – Practical Work with Language Models and Prompt Techniques
Content: The course offers a practical introduction to large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude). Participants learn how training data, tokenization, and the context window influence output. Effective prompt strategies are developed during practice sessions: clear goal formulations, structured guidelines, and iterative questioning.
The course introduces various AI providers, highlights their strengths and limitations, and discusses ethical and data protection risks. Finally, specific applications for study and work are developed.
Target Group: Students who have little or no experience using ChatGPT, Uni GPT, etc. Basic computer skills are required.
