AI-Supported Video Production

Content: The course covers the fundamentals and methods for creating a complete audiovisual sequence using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants learn the hands-on workflow from concept development through to the finalization of their own video project.

Format: Hybrid (online self-study modules, practical sessions in the FilmLAB): The course is an 8-week hybrid workshop with a fixed weekly rhythm that directly combines self-study with practical project work. Each week, thematically organized lessons are made available on Learnweb, offering clear instructions and tasks — such as video tutorials, practical guides, and quizzes to track personal learning progress. These are completed independently at one's own pace. The practical application then takes place during in-person sessions in the FilmLAB, where fixed teams work continuously on a shared video project, advancing it step by step with each session.

Schedule: The first session takes place on October 22, 2026. Weekly sessions then follow through December 10, 2026, every Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Language: German (materials, communication, and examination)

Target Audience: Students and members of the university. No prior knowledge in video production or AI is required.

Language: German (material, communication, exam)

Credit Points: 3 CP within the General Studies program upon successful participation in the course and completion of the final examination.
