Liberation Narratives in Religious Traditions: Intermediate Spaces and Resonances
Liberation narratives play a crucial role in diverse religious traditions. They have developed in specific places in the face of crises and experiences of oppression, and have often had an impact on a global scale. Where different religious traditions exist alongside and with one another, these have often been contested or rejected. Liberation narratives always articulate a specific way of dealing with experiences of marginalization, injustice and violence. Against this background, we invite experts from various religious traditions to present their distinct view of liberation narratives and to discuss them with us.
