Participation in the German Congress of Philosophy XXVI is only possible after prior registration. Registration is possible until 31 August 2024 via an online registration system.

The lower priced Early Bird rate applied until 30 April 2024. From 1 May 2024 to 31 August 2024, the Online rate applies. Anyone who has failed to register in time can register at the congress counter during the congress. In this case, the On-site rate applies and the participation fee can only be paid in cash.

Once the full programme (including all section presentations) has been published in mid-June, it will also be possible to purchase day tickets for certain congress days online (price per day: 30,–EUR, for DGPhil members: 25,–EUR).

For some congress events, the number of participants is limited due to the size and nature of the venue. This applies in particular to the opening event in the Festsaal des Rathauses des Westfälischen Friedens on 22 September 2024, the live broadcast “Das philosophische Radio” (WDR 5) with Susanne Boshammer and Jürgen Wiebicke on 23 September 2024 and the congress party on 25 September 2024. You will therefore be asked to register individually for these events during the registration process.

Early birds have an advantage here: places are allocated in the order of registration and registration for these events is only possible while places are still available. Remaining places will be allocated before the start of the event to congress participants who were unable to register. You will find more information on this in the congress programme from May 2024.

In order to limit paper consumption for the congress to the necessary minimum, the entire congress programme will be available online. During the congress, you can access the latest version of the programme using a mobile device via a QR code that you will find on your participation badge. Participants will receive a printed programme booklet only on request.

We endeavour to provide childcare during the congress. We therefore ask you to indicate on your registration form for which congress days you would like to request childcare. The congress office will then contact you in due course.
