The PAMM group provides a limited number of fellowships to allow young investigators (thesis students and post-doctoral fellows with less than 2 years experience) to attend the PAMM meeting.
Applications should be addressed by e-mail to the PAMM treasurer Dr. Annette K. Larsen (akraghlarsen@aol.com) by 22nd November and contain the following documents
- motivation letter
- CV
- recommendation letter from the advisor, who should be a current PAMM member in good standing
- an abstract with the candidate as first author
- a budget
Please note that
- The fellowships are provided as a courtesy of the PAMM group in order to permit young investigators to attend the annual PAMM meeting. Therefore, the fellows are expected to attend the entire meeting
- Reimbursements will only be provided after the meeting after submission of original receipts
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed at the lowest fare available
- Hotel expenses will be reimbursed at the lowest price proposed by the organizers
- It is unlikely that the support from the PAMM group will cover the entire expenses, in particular if several persons from the same laboratory have requested support to attend the meeting.
