The cooperations with Permatil and PermaYouth

The latest article in the "Cooperation in focus" section takes us to East Timor. In conversation with Prof. Dr. Thomas Stodulka (Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology), we discuss cooperation with the grassroots organisation Permatil – an international network that combines ecological education, sustainable agriculture and social justice. Permatil shows how community-based approaches and local forms of knowledge can open up new ways of dealing with climate change and globalisation, and how even young people can be introduced to the principles of permaculture in a self-effective way.
