Caroline Kögler worked as a research associate at the Chair of British Studies from 2016-2022, as well as principal investigator at the Collaborative Research Centre "Law and Literature" (SFB 1385) with a focus on "Literature and the Market". From 2022-2023, she served as senior lecturer at the Chair of British Studies. Dr. Kögler currently serves as professor (tenure track) of Global Literature and Its Media at the Freie Universität Berlin (FU).
Stefanie Tegeler was a research associate at the Chair of British Studies from May 2021 until April 2025. Her research interests included 19th-century British literature and culture, the Brontës, speculative fiction (esp. gothic, dystopian, and fantasy fiction), and children’s and YA literature.
Marlena Tronicke worked as a research associate at the Chair of British Studies from 2012-2016 and as assistant professor from 2016-2026. She currently serves as professor of English Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Cologne.
Svea Urbano was a research associate at the Chair of British Studies from October 2022 until July 2026. Her research interests included Contemporary British Theatre, 19th-Century Literature and Culture, Gender and Queer Studies, Ecocriticism, Affect Studies, Trauma and Memory Studies. Prior to this, Svea served as a student assistant to the Chair from November 2017 until October 2022.
Svea now intends on completing her teacher training (Referendariat) in NRW.
