Transfer School

The Innovation Office (AFO) offers a variety of courses in the areas of research transfer, creativity, patents, entrepreneurship and soft skills under one roof. These courses are targeted at students and researchers from all faculties of the University of Münster, as well as external visitors. The AFO first began offering seminars and workshops to bachelor’s students as part of the General Studies programme in 2008. The course instructors attach great importance to integrating current media into the curricula.

The aim of the programme is to anchor some of the more complex transfer-related topics, such as start-ups, patents, copyrights and science communication, into university curricula and establish cross-disciplinary links to these topics. We encourage students to actively engage in complex innovation systems in business and society at an early stage, while exploring a new dimension for applying their academic and scientific training.

The AFO’s Transfer School offers students the opportunity to gain important extracurricular and practice-oriented knowledge without having to invest a lot of time.
