The Graduate School Practices of Literature offers a structured doctoral program encompassing all fields of literary studies at the University of Münster. At the heart of its collaborative research lies an exploration of the relationship between literature/literary studies and society. Additional focal points of the research and teaching program include the philosophy of science, theories of literature (and literary studies), as well as the practical applications of literary scholarship. Rather than viewing theory and practice as opposing forces, the Graduate School understands them as being in a dynamic and mutually enriching relationship.
