Late Autumn School 2018 “Trust in the Digital Age”: Public Lectures on Friday, 16 November

(07.10.2018) As part of this year’s Late Autumn School, organised by the interdisciplinary DFG Research Training Group “Trust and Communication in a Digitized World”, two public lectures by international researchers will be held on Friday, November 16.

Under the theme “Trust in the Digital Age”, the Late Autumn School 2018 aims at discussing the role of trust in modern societies that are marked by an increasing digitization from different perspectives.

The public lectures will be held on November 16 after the opening:

• 9:45 - 10:45: Prof. Harrison McKnight (Michigan State University) “The Wide World of Trust Research: Past, Present, and Future”

• 11:00 - 12:00: Dr. Zlatka Pavlova (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover) “Defining the reliance on trust for organizations. A system sociological approach”
