Münster Centre for Emerging Researchers (CERes)

Welcome to the website of the Münster Centre for Emerging Researchers (CERes). In 2023, the former WWU Graduate Centre became a research centre. As such, we continue to accompany you as an internal academy, dear doctoral researchers and postdocs, on the paths you take in your training. In close proximity to research, as well as working closely with the faculties – and also with a view to a variety of career paths – we contribute to a research culture which lives up to its responsibilities to society, makes emerging researchers strong and raises their visibility.

Postdoc Appreciation Week

Universities and other research institutions across Germany offer a vibrant programme for postdocs to enhance skills, exchange ideas, and build networks. The University of Münster contributes with events, shares words of appreciation from professors – including vice-rector Prof. Dr. Maike Tietjens – and showcases five postdocs and their research in social media portraits. Mental health week

Mental health is the foundation for well-being, performance, and positive collaboration in everyday university life. During the upcoming Mental Health Week, a diverse program will be offered, including lectures, interactive sessions, and on-demand formats. The university has booked a translation package, making it possible to follow various events in a separate digital room with simultaneous interpretation. On the event’s detail page, there is a switch/button that allows you to watch the stream in English.  Mental Health Week
