Mathematics Münster reaches top-rankings among mathematics faculties in Germany. In 2018 it reached number two among all mathematics departments in Germany in the DFG-Förderatlas 2018 and is among the top four mathematics faculties in Germany according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking).
