After almost 20 years of planning, the Medical Library was opened in November 1993 as the central library of the medical facilities of the University of Münster. The brick building, which was completely converted for this purpose, dates from the "Golden Twenties" and housed the clinic's laundry until 1981. A small photo gallery illustrates the fundamental changes in the premises.
