Project presentation a the German Congress of Philosophy

Immanuel Normann Service Center for Digital Humanities and Stefan Heßbrüggen-Walter presented the project at the 26th German Congress of Philosophy „#digital|thinking“ in Münster. The title of their contribution was „Canons and Methods: A Conversation on the Digital History of Philosophy in the Project ‚PRODATPHIL — Science and Logic‘.

First dataset

PRODATPHIL — Science and Logic has released its first dataset. The dataset comprises 94 TEI-encoded text files in the domain of logic and philosophy of science from the 19th century: 30 monographs, 5 serialized articles published in several installments and 59 articles. The dataset is intended for researchers interested in the application of DH methods to philosophical texts. It is limited to public domain texts from the 19th century in English. Future versions will include German and French source texts as well.
