The Study India Certificate consists of two modules: Module 1, “Study India: Transdisciplinary Perspectives,” aims at establishing an interdisciplinary perspective on the historical, theoretical and socio-cultural foundations of South Asian and specifically Indian culture. Within this module, students may choose from all courses which are flagged as relevant and eligible for the Certificate in the course announcements. The second module, “Study India: Cultures in Contact,” seeks to bring participants into contact with Indian culture and thereby provide a ‘practical’ perspective on the theoretical foundations as developed in Module 1.
