Arithmetische algebraische Geometrie

Im Vordergrund der Untersuchungen standen motivische und dynamische Kohomologien, dynamische Spurformeln, die Theorie der Motive und ihre Deligne-Perioden. Außerdem die Bloch-Kato-Vermutung sowie die Theorie der Höhen.
