Umwelthygiene/Zelltoxikologie

Die Aufklärung zugrundeliegender pathogenetischer Mechanismen sowie eine präventivmedizinische Abschätzung möglicher gesundheitlicher Schäden durch belebte und unbelebte Schadfaktoren ist Ziel dieses 1998 von Düsseldorf nach Münster transferierten Arbeitsschwerpunktes. Durch ein cyto- und genotoxisches Effektmonitoring an Zellkultursystemen ist eine umwelttoxikologische Risikoabschätzung zu erreichen.
