Theses

We supervise final theses of students majoring in psychology and in the teacher training courses. The Bachelor's and Master's theses are related to the research topics of our work unit. They are empirical in nature and usually involve collecting own data.

    • In the project on the development of a questionnaire on social-emotional integration of children and adolescents (SOZEMI-KJ), both methodological questions on the development of the measure as well as content-related questions (e.g. correlations between social-emotional skills, resources, problem behavior) can be examined as part of the final theses. The data collection will take place in primary and secondary schools in the winter term 2025/26.
    • In a project on emotion regulation, the Process-Oriented Emotion Regulation Measure (POEM-CA; Rüth & Lohaus, 2023), which has so far been tested in children and adolescents, will be used in young adults for the first time. Both methodological and content-related questions (e.g., relationships between emotion regulation, mental health, well-being, parental behavior) can be addressed in the final theses. The data will be collected online in the winter term 2025/26.
