E-Mail Distribution Lists

The Geophysics Student Council uses e-mail distribution lists to inform you about important information concerning your studies and the Student Council.

Usage Guidelines

Usage

Only the Student Council can send messages to the distribution lists. The distribution lists are used exclusively for information relevant to Geophysics students, for example:

• Information and events organized by the Student Council
• Information for first-semester students
• Important information concerning your studies
• Changes to study and examination regulations
• Information about events organized by the institute
• Information from the AStA, StuPa, or other university institutions directly related to your studies

The distribution lists are not used for advertising or for forwarding requests to participate in studies or surveys.

Privacy Notice

The e-mail addresses are not shared with the Student Council or individual members, as the distribution lists are automatically created and managed by the CIT based on specific criteria stored by the Student Secretariat. This is based on a decision by the Senate's IV Commission.

Membership

Membership in the distribution lists is automatically determined based on predefined criteria. It is therefore not possible to be added manually by the Student Council.

You can manage your membership in the distribution lists via the University's IT Portal, including subscribing to or unsubscribing from the lists.
