The Theoretical Quantum Communication Group is currently expanding through several nationally and internationally funded research projects. We are building a research programme at the interface of quantum communication, quantum networks, quantum error correction, multipartite entanglement, and quantum cryptography, combining fundamental quantum information theory with the development of future quantum technologies.

We welcome applications from highly motivated students and researchers who enjoy mathematical thinking, developing new theoretical ideas, and collaborating across disciplines. Our research is also closely connected to experimental and industrial partners, providing opportunities to contribute to both fundamental research and emerging quantum technologies.

  • Postdoctoral Positions

Several fully funded postdoctoral positions will be advertised in the areas of:

    • Quantum Error Correction
    • Quantum Networks
    • Multipartite Entanglement
    • Quantum Cryptography

Outstanding candidates interested in joining the group are encouraged to contact Prof. Dr. Zahra Raissi.

  • PhD Position in Quantum Error Correction for Quantum Networks

Develop new quantum error-correcting methods for future quantum communication systems, with particular emphasis on application-oriented quantum error correction, graph states, and quantum networks.
