Dieses Seminar stützt sich auf kognitive und motivationale Theorien um zu untersuchen, wie Lehrer das Lernen und die Leistungen ihrer Schüler beeinflussen können. Wir werden Theorien zu wichtigen psychologischen Konstrukten wie Attributionen, Motivation und Emotionen besprechen und diskutieren, wie Lehrer diese Faktoren durch ihre Unterrichtspraxis beeinflussen können. Neben dem inhaltlichen Fokus ist ein wesentliches Ziel dieses Seminars das Lesen wissenschaftlicher Artikel und die Bewertung der Qualität der Forschung.

This course draws on cognitive and motivational theories to explore how teachers can enhance the learning and achievement of their students. We will review theories of key psychological constructs such as attributions, motivation, and emotions, and discuss how teachers can influence these factors through their classroom practice. In addition to focusing on content, a key objective of this seminar is to read scientific articles and evaluate the quality of research.
