In der späten Sekundarstufe I (insb. I einzusetzen.

In the later years of lower secondary education (especially grades 9 and 10), reading, analyzing, and interpreting plays is a major focus. The central question is how plays, as both literary and performative texts, can be explored in German language teaching. In addition to analyzing didactic concepts (including action-oriented and production-oriented methods as well as performative approaches), the seminar will also discuss specific teaching scenarios in which text reading, staging practices, and creative student productions are connected. You will read various plays from a diversity-oriented perspective, work on them in small groups, and present your findings. All selected plays are relevant to school practice. The aim of the seminar is to help you develop didactic and methodological clarity in working with plays so that you can use them effectively in heterogeneous lower secondary German classrooms. This also includes knowledge of drama analysis and drama theory. The required reading, the conditions for earning course credit, and the Learnweb password will be announced during the first session.
