This seminar focuses on educational research on teaching and learning in school contexts. Building on central theoretical and empirical foundations, students will engage more deeply with key topics such as motivation, effective teaching practices, assessment, and feedback.
Participants will deepen their understanding of how these factors shape student engagement and learning processes. A particular focus will be placed on motivational aspects of learning and on principles of effective teaching. The seminar aims to develop students’ ability to analyze teaching and learning situations from a theoretical perspective, to critically reflect on instructional decisions, and to evaluate their scope and limitations.
