The main objective of this course is for students to improve their spoken English. We do this by examining the lexis, the sounds, and the rhythm of English systematically and in detail. Together we will develop strategies to evaluate and improve each student’s spoken language. We will start this process immediately by making recordings of each student in the second week of the term and at other times throughout the semester. You will get access to all the materials in our first class, Oct. 13. Attendance is mandatory in all language practice classes, so please attend the first session to ensure you have a spot in this class.
