<p>Project management is a key qualification for the future professional careers of GI stutdents in research and industry.</p><p>In this course, project management will focus on a very specific event, the students'initiative to organize the students conference GeoMundus 2024, previous events see <a href="Http://geomundus.org/">Http://geomundus.org/</a>), which now is a mandatory part of the study program. In weekly sessions and a final block day, we will prepare this event, e.g., scientific program, keynote speaker, further sessions (e.g., career development), social programm, submission of articles, budget, sponsorin, facilities, staff, etc.</p><p>Passing the course will base on a final report to be provided until (t.b.a.). The course will not be graded but recognized by "passed" (or not passed).</p><p> </p><p>The course will take place in GEO1, Room 147</p>
