This course is part of an international teaching and research project, which will be co-taught by two international specialists in Human Rights Education (HRE) and Children's Rights Education (CRE). It will take place in cooperation with Dr. David Rott (Erziehungswissenschaft) as part of our "Forum Kinderrechtsbildung". Providing a comprehensive introduction to the multifaceted fields of HRE/CRE and peace education in the English as a foreign or second language classroom, it places particular focus on the German educational context. There is a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, with participants developing learning and teaching tasks and materials for secondary and vocational educational settings. Please note that on Thursday, 28 May, you will attend two keynote presentations and a work shop by our international and national partners and participate in a small international symposium.
