Generative AI is transforming how entertainment is conceived, produced, and experienced. From AI-assisted script development and virtual production to synthetic actors, personalized trailers, and automated campaign optimization, innovative studios and platforms are rapidly integrating generative models into their creative and commercial workflows. These innovations are beginning to reshape business models, cost structures, and customer expectations in entertainment, while also raising new questions around creativity, labor, and ethics.

In this interactive seminar, we explore how generative AI can be used to create and market entertainment offerings along the entire value chain, with a particular focus on filmed entertainment (e.g., series, films, and streaming content). Together with industry expert Dr. Malte Probst, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Swiss Studios and former Senior Vice President Film & Entertainment Portfolio at Sky, we will examine concrete use cases and tools already being deployed by pioneering entertainment companies. We will look at applications in areas such as content ideation and development, production support, post-production, as well as marketing and promotion.
