Welcome to the Enterprise Architecture Management course in the summer term 2026!

Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) is a management discipline that systematically designs, analyzes, and governs the structure and evolution of an organization’s business processes, information systems, data, and underlying technologies. Its primary objective is to align business strategy and IT capabilities by providing a transparent, integrated view of the enterprise across architectural layers (business, application, data, and technology). EAM supports decision-making in complex transformation contexts—such as digitalization, process integration, or platform adoption—by enabling organizations to assess dependencies, manage complexity, and plan target architectures and transformation roadmaps. As such, EAM acts as a key enabler of strategic coherence, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational agility.
