Undergraduate Research Class II (Linguistics) builds on the skills developed in Undergraduate Research Class I and is part of the Undergraduate Research Module, which supports students in developing their own academic research projects under coordinated supervision. In this course, students present and discuss concrete project ideas and assess their feasibility in terms of scope, data availability, and methodology. Throughout the semester, students work collaboratively to design, carry out, and present their projects. The course focuses on developing research questions, choosing and explaining methods, collecting and analyzing data, and visualizing descriptive statistics. Regular peer feedback encourages cooperative, solution-oriented discussion and helps refine each project.
