MA Module M8: Research/Thesis Colloquium
This colloquium supports MA students in the final phase of their studies as they prepare, structure, and present their MA thesis projects. It offers a space to reflect critically and collaboratively on the process of translating empirical research, literature analysis, visual documentation, or internship experiences into a theoretically grounded and coherently argued thesis.
Students will present the concept, structure, and preliminary findings of their research, whether based on fieldwork, literature review, film/media production, or practical experience, and receive constructive feedback from peers and instructors. The course complements individual thesis supervision. Peer critique and collegial discussion foster a collaborative learning environment and encourage students to explore shared anthropological perspectives and experiences emerging from diverse research settings.
