The seminar Theory of Complex Systems invites students to explore and present on a variety of topics related to the theoretical description of the intricate self-organised behavior of dynamical systems. The discussions will focus on areas such as pattern formation, self-organization, biophysical aspects, complexity theory, and reservoir computing. Students will prepare and deliver talks that showcase how complex phenomena emerge from simple rules, how natural systems self-organize, and how computational models describe these processes. For participation in the seminar registration on this Learnweb page is required before the first Wednesday of the lecture period. After this deadline, registration for the seminar is normally not possible. |
