The course offers an to the multifaceted field of children’s rights education in the English as a foreign or second language classroom, with a particular focus on the German educational context. In co-operation with the seminar in the Erziehungswissenschaften taught by Dr. David Rott taking place in parallel, we will work out how the rights of the child can be included in the design of lessons. In addition to knowledge of children's rights, issues of protection, promotion and participation rights will be addressed. The cooperation between the seminars enables a comprehensive programme with a workshop character. Experts from the field will be invited as external speakers.

In the first week of the Vorlesungszeit, you will be invited to access a LearnWeb course on a specific topic. Kindly note that all participants are expected to have completed the assigned readings and tasks prior to the first session in September.
