Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte:

The promise and reality of salvation have different connotations for a variety of contexts and persons. Some people experience salvation on an emotive level, some have an embodied or ecstatic experience, or some even understand salvation to be a spiritual or intellectual ascension. The varied nature of spiritual experience has been an important topic of inquiry in English-speaking theological and philosophical traditions. This seminar will explore various historical, analytic, and constructive conceptual models to grapple with the notion of divine grace and the contextual experience of salvation. The aim is to encounter various texts and traditions to formulate resonances between divine grace and the concrete experience of salvation.
