The seminar Theory of Complex Systems invites students to explore and present on a variety of topics related to the theoretical description of the intricate self-organised behavior of dynamical systems. The discussions will focus on areas such as pattern formation, self-organization, biophysical aspects, complexity theory, and reservoir computing. Students will prepare and deliver talks that showcase how complex phenomena emerge from simple rules, how natural systems self-organize, and how computational models describe these processes. The seminar fosters a collaborative environment for students to share insights and engage in discussions of the rich interdisciplinary field.
