The climate crisis is a social crisis. We will take a look at the sociological implications of a warming planet with rising sea levels and more extreme weather events. To cover such a huge topic in one semester, we will focus on the perspective of climate justice. We will touch on discourses on the climate justice movement, climate justice and postcolonialism, climate justice in climate diplomacy, and just transition. The class, all readings and class papers will be in English. Literature: Jafry, Tahseen (2019): The Routledge Handbook of Climate Justice. London: Routledge. https://doi.org/10.4324/9781315537689
