Oberseminar Geometry, Algebra and Topology: "Moduli spaces of complex curves" SoSe 2024, Lutz Hille, Helmut Hamm, Jörg Schürmann, Raimar Wulkenhaar

This research seminar will be an introduction to the theory of "Moduli spaces of complex curves". Subjects to be covered will include: Teichmüller spaces and mapping class groups, hyperbolic geometry of Riemann surfaces, moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces and their Deligne-Mumford compactifications, tautological classes, the Kontsevich model and topological recursion.

Since this is a seminar for a transfer of knowledge, there will be time for additional questions and discussions.
