The lecture gives an introduction to the numerical treatment of complex systems. In the corresponding exercises, students are given the opportunity to develop Python programs for the integration of ordinary and partial differential equation systems on physically relevant examples. Contents: Nonlinear differential equations (model equations for structure formation, reaction-diffusion equations, turbulent flows)
Die Vorlesung gibt eine Einführung in die numerische Behandlung von komplexen Systemen. In den dazugehörigen Übungen wird Gelegenheit geboten, unter Anleitung Python-Programme zur Integration gewöhnlicher sowie partieller Differentialgleichungssysteme an physikalisch relevanten Beispielen zu entwickeln.
