The course will cover the basics of set theory: ZFC, Ordinals, Cardinals, Forcing, Constructibility.

In the first half of the course, we will cover basic concepts from descriptive set theory (Polish spaces, Borel pointclasses, analytic and coanalytic sets) and in the second half of the course, we will focus on definable equivalence relations (Borel reducibility, classification problems, Hjorth's turbulence theory, countable Borel equivalence relations).
