Theory aims to develop a basic knowledge of the energy supply of the human body during aerobic/anaerobic exercises, to understand different principles and methods of endurance training, and to learn methods of performance diagnostic and different training monitoring tools in order to increase running performance.

The objective of the seminar is to plan, create, conduct and evaluate an individual training schedule for a 5km run at the end of the seminar. In practice, students will experience and evaluate a variety of performance diagnostics as well as critical training sessions using specific methods of endurance training.
