The seminar will be conducted 50-50% in theory and practice. The theory aims to inform students of different forms of physical training, with the purpose to increase football performance. Moreover, the training process varies across different populations (youth, females), in response to different scenarios (injury risk, congested schedules), using different training monitoring tools. The objective of the seminar is to understand the different constraints within football, and to create, plan and conduct different forms of training, whilst understanding the target population. The practical element, will consist of students creating, planning and conducting training sessions based using a specific method of training. Recommended:

  • Students have prior experience in training and/or football experience
  • Students have suitable equipment (e.g. football boots)
