This seminar will engage with ancient texts in differernt digital forms. The focus will be on diachronic exegesis, but their will be opportunity for synchronic approaches as well. The primary text under evaluation here is the Bible, but should there be interest in examinig other ancient texts (e.g., Classical Greek or ancient Mesopotamian), we can pursue this avenue as well. By the seminar’s conclusion, students should be familiar with digitial resources for the evaluation of ancient texts and how to use them.
