This seminar focuses on the role that motivational factors play in the learning process. The seminar considers the theoretical perspectives of motivation and key motivational factors such as self-concept, self-efficacy, interest, goal orientations and achievement emotions etc. which influence the learning process. Attention will also be given to academic procrastination in the context of self-regulated learning. In the first part of the research internship, students actively engage with current research on this topic. Building on this, they develop their own study idea, which they implement in the following semester.
