The language Practice Module begins in the first semester with Self-Study and a Portfolio. For these two components of the module students will be supported by the language instructors who will provide the students with online learning materials, diagnostic tests and consultation sessions.
The evidence of the students’ self-study will be documented in their own personal portfolio, which will record the learning and progress made in each of the four skill areas in English (reading, speaking, listening and writing). The content of the portfolio will form the basis of the consultation sessions and will have to be presented by the student in the final oral exam in Spoken English.
More detailed information will be given in an introductory lecture on Friday 12th October 2018 in the Audimax. Attendance is obligatory.
