Not only in Germany OECD shocked experts and the public equally with the data generated by PISA. The seminar will start with the discussion of a document that criticizes negative effects of the international outcomes comparison on national education policies. In the course of our workshop we will read and discuss some of the many conceptual OECD studies that have hardly been discussed in Germany. These studies include topics like “Schools and Quality”, “Evidence in Research”, “Trends Shaping Education”, or “Education for Innovation”.
