Prof. Dr. Julia Metag (Institut für Kommunikationswissenschaft, Universität Münster) wird im Juni das IMMIDD-Seminar halten.

Das Seminar findet am 15. Juni um 12 Uhr im Großen Seminarraum (DK03 120.072), Institut für Epidemiologie und Sozialmedizin, Domagkstraße 3, 48149 Münster statt.

Zusammenfassung: "This talk examines how science communication is shaped by increasingly dynamic information environments characterized by rapid technological change, platform dynamics, and contested public discourse. It introduces key concepts and discusses how emerging challenges such as AI-generated content, hate speech or misinformation influence the communication of scientific knowledge. Drawing on current research findings, the talk highlights how these developments affect both science communicators and public engagement with science."
