Network for first generation students at FB 10

Being the first person in the family to pursue university education opens up new perspectives, but also involves particular challenges. The Department 10 – Mathematics and Computer Science – wants to support first-generation students, to offer them a space for exchange and opportunities for networking.

The aim is to support first-generation students through a variety of offers, such as information events or discussion groups, and to strengthen their individual educational paths.

On a Learnweb page, students can register, connect with one another, exchange ideas, and arrange personal meetings if they wish. The ArbeiterKind.de initiative offers further networking opportunities at their regular meetings on the second Thursday of the month.
