Lecture at the Institute for Sinology and East Asian Studies

Prof. Dr. Julia C. Schneider from the University of Hamburg will give a lecture on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Institute for Sinology and East Asian Studies. The event is financially supported by the Center for Empire Studies and the Cluster of Excellence “Religion & Politics.” The event will take place in Seminar Room RS 23 at the Institute for Sinology and East Asian Studies (Schlaunstr. 2, 48143 Münster). Dr. Schneider will speak on the topic “Book Censorship in the 18th Century under the Qianlong Emperor.”

Students and anyone else interested are cordially invited.
