  • Research interests

My research interests span all aspects of palynology and its applications in hydrocarbon exploration, age dating and paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic reconstructions in time and space, and how this can be employed to interpret and solve geologically related problems.

  • Technical Expertise

    - Palaeontological/sedimentological sample collection

    - Laboratory processing of palynological samples

    - Transmitted- and reflected-light, fluorescence, and SEM microscopy

    - Geological and palaeontological fieldwork in various countries, e.g., Egypt, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria.
