Introduction to non-Christian religions

The lecture offers an overview of the central beliefs of the larger non-Christian religious traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese religions, Judaism, Islam) with brief views into Sikhism, Jainism and the Bahá'ís. The historical and religious-historical context of the development of the respective religious traditions is also briefly presented. Finally, current debates with regard to the respective religious communities are outlined.

The lecture takes place in German.
