Eine Reflexion der Machtdarstellungen im Abendmahl

Abstract

Der Beitrag untersucht Machtdarstellungen im Kontext von Abendmahl/Eucharistie anhand von François Ozons Film „Gelobt sei Gott“ und leitet daraus Impulse für die Liturgik ab. Dabei geht es zunächst um eine Annäherung an den Begriff „Macht“ im Kontext der Liturgie, um anschließend drei Szenen des Films, in denen eine Eucharistiefeier dargestellt wird, im Blick auf die Darstellung von Macht im liturgischen Kontext zu analysieren. Die Ergebnisse werden u. a. vor dem Hintergrund der ForuM-Studie (2024) in den Diskurs mit der evangelischen Abendmahlspraxis gebracht.

The article examines representations of power in the context of the Lord’s Supper/Eucharist by analyzing François Ozon’s film By the Grace of God, providing insights for Protestant liturgical practice. It first approaches the concept of “power” within the framework of liturgy, and subsequently analyzes three scenes from the film in which a liturgical Eucharistic celebration is depicted, focusing on the representation of power in the liturgical context. The findings are then brought into dialogue with Protestant Eucharistic practice and, especially, the ForuM study (2024).
